Wow.. seems that i’ve stopped blogging since almost a week ago. So let’s recap on what I was busy with so far that stopped me from blogging. Well, I had an exam on microcontroller last Wednesday. The test was quite easy but I’ve forgotten some terms and definations so can’t really answer well on those definations questions. But overall I think I did it quite ok.

Went to the Tebrau City Jusco for movies this afternoon. Its the biggest Jusco in whole Malaysia I think. The photo above is really funny. Why? Because my friends called me devil and the poster of the new movie titled “The Devil Wears Prada”… Coincidence? lol.. So we went there around 2 something and watched Underworld Revolution. The movie? If you never watch the first one before then better don’t watch it because the story is continued from the previous ones. I watched the previous one long time ago and there’s some flashback in the movie about it. The movie is about Vampires fighting against Licans (wearwolves… this spelling?). So the head of the Vampire is trying to get the key to release his brother, which was turned into a Lican long time ago and being caged by other Vampires. So as usual you’ll see the gal turns into the hero to save the world.. hehe.. overall.. the movie is just so so only but the fighting scenes are quite exciting.
Its the old topic again~ Lampe Berger, the lamp that burns essential oils.. lol. Well it seems that my post in my old blog is getting a lot of attention from the internet. I received a reply from the author of the Anti Lampe Berger blog. The blog really contains a lot of information on Lampe Berger marketing plans. I’m not accusing that its a bad company or whatsoever, just their marketing plans. There’s a lot of arguements on Lampe Berger itself from its own members. Many of them who are newbies felt being scammed because they can’t find downlines. Its a MLM business, people who joined should have considered about it before joining. A net friend told me that his friend is being sued by his downline because his downline can’t find any downlines at all.
These few days is really tiring. I have 3 assignments need to finish before the coming exams next week. Microcontroller project, VLSI assignment and also a presentation for Etech. Among all three, the microcontroller is the toughest. We have to do it like final year project where we write out the program for the questions and then assemble the hardware on a protoboard, then present it to the lecturer and submit all the reports. The hardware part is much harder as we have to design the circuit and assemble all of it ourselves. Its getting tired and frustated as its not really easy to assemble all it. My groupmates and I just finish assemble it just now.
Well after months of torturing noise coming from my rig, I decided to buy a new heatsink fan for my processor. My motherboard is socket478 and the stock Intel cooler fan was way too noisy for me. I can even hear it from 10 meters away~ The fan is running more than 5000 RPM which I think its on the maximum speed. So I went to the PC shop in Tmn U and find a silent HSF for my rig. This is what I found!
What is Brontok? It’s a virus from the I-worm family. The virus is spread through the network so basically all the pc in a single network will be infected immediately once the infected pc connects into the network. What it does is creating new files which looked like a folder but its actually a .exe file. Unless you’ve enabled the view extensions in the folder options or else you won’t see the .exe extension of the file. The files are approximately 43.7Kb each and normally people will click to open them because they looked like a folder. So after you’ve open it, the virus will run each time during startup and keep on spreading and spreading… into the hard drives.
More troubles coming up. Normally when you click “Tools” in explorer, there’s a “folder options” underneath it. Once the pc is infected with the virus, the Folder Options will be missing, which disabled you to change the options to view the extension of the files. So when you see a new folder appeared from nowhere and you clicked to open it out of curiousity, the virus spread more again. Moreover, the virus disabled the registry edit where you will see this message “Registry edit is disabled by the administrator” everytime you try to edit the registry.
So how to clean the virus then? I found some solution from Symantec.
Its the match that we had waited for all time, Chelsea versus Barcelona! Well Barcelona had won the previous match where they scored 2 away goals over with 1 home goal from Chelsea. So this match its either Chelsea needs to score at least 2 away goals in order to win the match to enter the semifinals of the Champions League. The matched started at 3.45am and my housemates and I were staying awake just to watch it.
I went to watch Final Destination 3 with my housemates yesterday. The storyline is just like the previous ones which a girl got a vision of she’s going to die and she escaped it, but in the end those who escaped death together with her kept on dying while she’s trying to cheat death again. The movie is just with lots of head exploding… geez.. disgusting. Just simple deaths, “pop!” the head exploded.. lol. Comparing to the ending of FD2, they figured out a way to stop the deaths but this movie the gal got another vision again in the end. Don’t think they can escape it anymore.. haha!
Well, long time didn’t post here. Yesterday I had an exam in the evening. Did it quite badly as the question was out of what I scope for. Never mind then. After that, I straight away drive to the McDonald’s Drive Thru to buy myself a McChicken set and then set off to KL. Why did I go to KL again? Its because of my internship. On Monday morning I received a call asking me to go to the company for interview. I requested a short interview through the phone but the person who called me insist that I must go to the company for the interview. And so, driving alone to KL to my eldest sister’s house in Mutiara Damansara. Reached there around 10.30pm and then had a short talk with my sister.
