Last Saturday my housemates and I went to watch the D1 Grand Prix Round 2 held at Danga Bay JB. Its a drifting race among the drivers where the two cars will go sideways side by side. When we arrived, they were announcing for the top 16 drivers among 32 drivers that will compete in the drift battle. The rules are simple: 2 cars will race in each battle which consists 2 rounds, where one will start in front while the other will follow behind in the 1st round. Then in 2nd round, the driver which start at behind will start in front. Points will be awarded for the way they drift in the track and total marks for both round will decide who is the winner. If the car behind overtake the car in front, or the car in front made some mistake and turn around during drifting, full marks will be given to the other driver. Clear enough? haha..

I’m now having my final exams. 6 papers in total, where 2 already taken. Another one tomorrow which is Numerical Methods, then Wedsnesday Electrical Technology, Saturday Microprocessor and Sunday Electronic Communications. Going nuts with the studies so took a break and blog something here.
A big mess on my study desk.. papers notes and papers.. zzz
I was trying to print out some notes using my printer and trying to fix it because it malfunctioned. Damn Canon printers… useless! Most Canon printers had the same problem which is the circuit board connected to the printer head malfunctioned. What happened to my printer is that it can’t detect whether there is ink catridge installed or not and the printer just can’t communicate with my pc. It stated offline although the printer is connected properly to the pc. Damn!

This is what people did when they get frustrated with the hardware. I was trying to fix it, and ended up opening all the covers.
The ink catridge holder will just stay at the middle even I had the cover closed whatsoever. Bang it, crash it, still the same. Just can’t fix it.. I think its the circuit board problem?? Nah.. just throw it into the trash and the problem solved… lol..
I received an email from windows live beta team today inviting me to join and use their new product, Windows Live Mail. Its the new version of Hotmail actually, which they claimed to give you more speed, reliability, user friendly, and of course bigger space which is 2GB of email space for email. I accepted the invitation and my hotmail inbox is now changed to the new Windows Live Mail.

My housemates and I went to the PC Fair in City Square last Saturday. The place is damn crowded man~ The PC fair is inside a shopping mall, which is much smaller than the PIKOM pc fair in PWTC. This is a photo taken from top of the mall..
Well, I was going over all the booths to find for my harddisk. Finally I found a booth with the cheapest price of all for the 160GB 8MB buffer harddisk. Unfortunately, their stocks finished~ haiz.. then I’m struggling whether to buy the western digital 160GB hdd or Seagate 200GB hdd. In the end, I bought the 200GB Seagate hdd. A 5 years warranty might save some money for the hdd i think.. I’m gonna be real broke after this.. I mean REAL broke..
My housemates bought movie tickets for Ice Age 2 before that. We had to wait for around 1 hour for the movie to start. All of us were exhausted back then. So what do we do then?
Sitting on the floor waiting for the movie to start.. zzz.. Can’t stop laughing with the stupid posts..

And… the movie started. Everyone in the cinema laughed from the start of the movie til the end. Quite a funny cartoon and entertaining. There’s some malay auntie laughed until cannot control themselves.. I mean.. is it really so damn funny? haha.. Went back home after that and start my formating harddisk project. Such a big spaced hdd really needs a lot of time to format it all and install my windows in it. I’m using it as my primary harddisk.

Busy days finally ended! Hurray! Let’s recap on what I did in this week. Last Tuesday and Wednesday I had exams, don’t know how I did it but hopefully I can score a bit~ After the test on Wednesday, its really busy for me as I need to finish up the Maple assignment for Numerical Methods and also preparing for the Microcontroller assignment presentation. Did the Maple assignment until 6am.. zzz
The presentation for the Microcontroller assign went well as our hardware is working fine during our presentation. The lecturer asked me a question on the hardware circuit. I answered it well as I’m the one who drawed the schematic diagram and most of the hardware.. hehe.. So what is the score we got for the assignment? 17.66 / 20~ Can consider well as the highest mark for all the groups is 18.66. Our hardwork for the assignment did gain a good score after all! Good! The Maple assignment is a mess for me. I had to finish up the question I was assigned to by my partner, then went to the partner’s house to compile, bind the paperworks, and then pass up the assignment to the lecturer’s room. Rush like hell for it man~ But luckily can finish it on time~ Phew~!
Now I’m finally free! Just a bit free actually, haha! Starting from next week, all of us are having our study week holiday, a time for us to study our best for our final exam after this. I still have a VLSI assignment need to pass up before 19/4. Then the final exams starts on the 20th. Must study hard then. My housemates and I went for few nice place for lunch and dinner lately as there’s a few new restaurant opened in our area. This is what I ordered at the Dream On Cafe, blackpepper chicken chop!
Nice huh? Never seen such a nice plate before lol.. The plate costed me RM10.90 I think. Quite cheap for a chicken chop but its too little for me. Ignore those flowers ya~ Only 1 flower in the plate but my housemates added their plate’s flower in.. haha..
Tomorrow I’m going for the PC fair in JB. Hoping to buy myself a 160GB Harddisk. I’ve been struggling on using my 40GB over the years which its too little space for me. My friends really surprised that I can survive so long with the small space HDD for so long! lol! Will see the price at the pc fair there. If its just same with the shops here, I think I’ll buy it here then.
Oh ya, I’ve just bought a new domain for my gf. Shinzz.com. Everything is set up but need to teach her how to use wordpress and lots of other settings. Hope she likes the new blog thingy then… hehe~
