I went to the KL Motorshow held at PWTC last Monday. I’m lucky that I just need to pay RM5 instead of RM15 because I had my student card with me. Took the lrt to PWTC right after work.. damn tired man! In my opinion, its just a waste of time as the cars are just those you can always see on the road. Not many cars that is really rare or new. But then to see so many cars for only RM5 I think its quite worth it after all.. haha..
This is the car I love the most. Ferrari F430~ Mind that this car is modified with bodykit and rims. That’s why it look so damn nice~!

Its the end for 24 season 5~! I just watched the finale last night as I have to download it slowly.. lol.. The finale is mainly about the whole day’s terrorism doings was done by the President Logan. Damn~ Can a president do something like this? Selling nerve gas to the terrorist, assasination on the ex-president David Palmer, etc.. And this is among the last scene where Jack Bauer confronted the president to confess his doings face to face.

WooHoo! There’s a new member in the family now~ My sis just gave birth yesterday at noon with a cute little daughter.
This is where she’s sleeping when my 3rd sis and I reach the specialist center.
Cute cute little baby… She’s so tiny. She even opened her eyes to look at us when we were almost going back.
Her hair so long.. haha.. never know just born a baby will have so much hair. I now become uncle already.. old already.. haha~ Tomorrow my sister will discharge from the hospital and I’ll get to look at the baby much closer. hehe… can’t wait for it.
Wow.. no new posts for a week! Ok I’m just being lazy and of cause.. its because I don’t have the internet connection at home. TMnet dialup SUCKS k? Last Wednesday the sales manager from OMRON came over to my company for a hardware demonstration. We are looking for a better readability antenna and reader for the development of the RFID project.
This is the antenna. Its much larger compared to the old one they guys bought last time. Its function is to send signal to the tags and receive signal from tags.
This is the reader/writer. The antenna is connected to it and then to a pc. This reader/writer can read the signals received from the antenna as well as writing info into the tag through the antenna.
So this is the whole system of RFID.. haha..
How it works? Inside the briefcase there are some cassettes which are being tagged. So we need to test how many cassettes can the antenna detect eventhough the cassettes are all inside the briefcase. The best part of RFID.. it can detect tags through objects, which is not in line-of-sight.
demo… A CF card reader compatible with PDA. This will be a handheld to read tags. The tags are actually just like a piece of paper.
Works are just as normal lately. I need to search for the specs for all these hardwares and then make a comparison between the hardwares from 2 companies. My presentation had been rescheduled twice so far, because they were busy with their programming thingy and I haven’t got my specifications from the company. Hopefully I did it well.. heheh..
And guess what.. I saw this Porsche GT3 in front of the office yesterday. Damn its gorgeous man! And it parked at our company’s private parking space. So I’ll assume its our boss’s car? My god… so rich.. when am I gonna have a car like this?? Dreaming.. zzz
Its been a few days after the last post.. Well the presentation just not that well. The manager kept on asking me some questions on the slides I prepared. I think I missed out some terms that I don’t really understand on that makes me can’t answer the question he asked. Sigh.. But he just asked me to get the answers then mail the entire copy of the presentation to the whole team.
On Thursday, there’s a sales manager from OMRON came over to my company for a Demo on RFID products. Actually can’t really say its a Demo because mainly he was just explaining what is RFID which is quite similar to what I’ve presentated the day before. But his was more interesting than mine of cause.. lol. Luckily my friend loon had 4 days off so yuan, him and I went to watch movie after dinner. MI3… Quite late for me to watch it but there’s no one to accompany me to watch it. Quite exciting movie I say..
This is a pet we saw at the pet shop at the lower ground floor at 1U. Damn cute and I can’t stop laughing at it after looking. Reached home around 11pm that day. Working life really boring.. Everyday around 12am sleep, then work, then back home then pass some time then sleep again n get ready for work.. omg..
This is my working desk.. with my own pc.. I think I’m quite lucky already since not many friends got internet access during practical training.
Friday is really boring. I spent whole day sitting at office don’t have anything to do with. My supervisor asked me to search for the specifications for the RFID hardware from OMRON since I don’t have the hardware to test on. They want me to do an analysis on the hardware but after I asked how to test on the hardware, my supervisor said that they don’t have the equipment to test on. So now what I have to do is search for the specification on few types of hardware from OMRON and make a comparison among them. Damn it.. paperworks again.. Sigh!!!
Friday nite was really long that day. My friend yuan picked me up at the kelana jaya lrt center to his house since Loon was there whole day. 3 of us went to Sunday Pyramid for dinner at Genki Sushi. We ate so much and ended up with a bill of RM80 for just 3 person. Damn expensive.. haha.. Then we go all the way to Sri Petaling because Yuan want to fetch his gf. After that we went for a drink at some mamak stall to pass some time because we bought tickets for The Da Vinci Code at 1.10am. The movie is a bit boring at the start but getting more and more interesting after that. Overally its a good movie.. but not as fast pace as MI3… need to understand the movie or else you don’t know what the hell its talking about.. haha.. I went back home around 4.30am… Damn tiring man… whole day didn’t even had a bath..
Yesterday my JB housemate who live in Kepong asked me to go Lowyat Plaza with him. He want to buy a harddisk there. Damn, he bought a 250GB harddisk at the same price as my 200GB harddisk. RM295… sigh… Should’ve buy it later? nah… By next month the price will drop again also… After walking around there, we decided to watch a movie at TimeSquare. OMG.. I’ve been watching movie 3 days straight! I can memorize those advertisement in GSC already lol.. The movie? Over the Hedge.. 2 “ma lat lou” went there to watch cartoon.. damn gay.. haha.. Actually we want to watch Poseidon but its full.. So ended up watching cartoon and had some laugh from it.
Today… no more outings but just sitting at home playing some PC games I bought from Lowyat yesterday. Tomorrow working again.. Argh.. boring.. No wonder people always said they wish they can go back to school again.. haha
Tomorrow I have to present a presentation to my supervisor and the team on what I done in the research on RFID. OMG.. Hopefully I can do it well. I’ve been searching for things on RFID since last Monday and the topics on it are so damn wide. I’ve just finished the presentation slides, hopefully can satisfied them. haha…
Its kind of boring during at work. My work is just surf net and then surf net and then surf again. Hopefully after tomorrow’s presentation I can start doing analysis on the hardware, then I’m not so bored anymore. Today I even brought my phone’s headset into the office to listen to mp3s in the phone.. lol.. The whole afternoon I listened almost 4-5 music albums..
There’s 2 new guys joined the group yesterday. Both of them are fresh grads and they actually are in the same situation like me… bored because got nothing to do. But now at least there’s someone to accompany me for lunch. Since they’re permanent employees, they are assigned to work on programmings for the systems. Much better than me doing my research I think.. Nevermind, I think I got my title for my final year project already.. which is in RFID.. haha.. Time to go and hope I can do well for tomorrow’s presentation. Adiyos!~
Went back to my hometown as my sister was coming back as well. Was really boring at home since my mom went to Cameron Highlands for a schoolmate reunion.. haha. Here’s some photo I took last time when I’m at home feeling bored…
Its odd to see this plant in a house actually.. haha. Ever heard of “猪笼入水” (chu long yap sui)? My mom is a bit supersticious in this and she planted this plant at home.. haha
