I’ve been trying to use Windows Live Writer to post in my blog for quite some time but I’ve encountered a big problem. Windows Live Writer needs to access to a file, xmlrpc.php ( in the root of wordpress installation ) for wordpress based blog. This is what I get everytime I tried to add my weblog into Windows Live Writer.
Tomorrow will be my first presentation for my final year project. Actually its just a small presentation on what my project is all about and some technical details about it. My title? Embedded TCP/IP. The more I read about this topic, the more confused I become actually.. lol.. What I need to do is design a hardware which can connect to the Internet by itself without connecting it to a PC or anything. Its called a standalone Embedded Ethernet. These hardware can hardwired into other appliances to enable internet connection to the device. Sounds complicated huh?
More to come.. I need to get my hardwares to work, program some software, making a HTTP web server for the embedded hardware, and lots more.. OMG.. This is getting tougher and tougher. But now I have to make sure my presentation tomorrow done well.

All of a sudden Apple made a lot of changes for iTunes and iPods. We’ll talk about iTunes first.
I will only write some interesting part of the new iTunes. This is a snapshot of the new iTunes. Now Apple offers downloadable movies and TV series just a few clicks away in the iTunes Store. Movies like Pirates of the Carribean and many new movies are available to download at low cost. The movies are all in near DVD quality 640×480 pixel videos which are perfect for watching on computer and or for syncing to iPod. Brilliant huh?
Other than that, iPod games are now available for just $4.99 in the store. Imagine you can play tetris, pac-man, zuma and many other small games on your iPod. That’s really fun~! haha..
After my housemate fetch me from campus, we passed by the deer park in the University. It was raining and the deers have no place to shed. I was feeling pity of the deers as there were no more grass for them to feed on. The land in the park was almost pure soil. Then out of nowhere, we had an interesting conversation on them.
Me : Pity those deers.. no more grass to feed on. By the way, do deers eat grass?
H : Of course! What will they eat if not grass?
Me : Leaves maybe? bushes?
H : Even giraffe eat grass also what.. Deers eat grass as well..
Me : Giraffe eat grass? I thought they eat leaves on trees? What’s the use of their long neck if they are to eat grass? Are you serious??? Tell me, what elephants eat then?
H : Hmm.. Elephants.. They eat sugarcane..
Me : What the… ??!! How the hell can elephants find sugarcane in wild safari in places like Africa? SUGARCANE??? Elephants eat sugarcane??
H : They eat sugarcane… if not what they eat then?
Me : Hmm.. I don’t know what they eat also… leaves? Are you talking about bamboo? I’m 100% sure they don’t eat sugarcane… ok?
And so we argued about it the whole journey back home, and then another housemate came argue with us about what elephant eat. We are pretty sure that there’s no way elephants eat sugarcanes. Leaves maybe… but somehow we still can’t find the correct answer about it. LoL..
Sometimes when we get older, we tend to forget about such small things around us. Things even a 5 year old child will know the answer but we as adults tend to forget about it. We don’t even know what kind of food do the animals eat and we called ourselves as University undergraduates! Funny..
After almost 2 weeks of no starting my car, the car won’t start when I tried to start it after coming back from Teluk Intan. I was so worried about it since I need the car to go to classes. So I asked my coursemate to fetch me to class today. After class, Hanwei came fetch me and we went to search for new battery. Actually the old battery can recharge and reuse but I chose to get a new one. The battery has been used for more than 4 years already and its better to change it. So this is what I got after searching for it.
Costed me RM160 for this. Those maintainance free battery is in the same price range but I chose this because its bigger in size compared to the maintainance free ones. It will cost me RM200+ if I buy those bigger size and maintainance free ones.. crazy.. Hopefully I won’t get any problems again… Broke.. haha..
There I was, in Ipoh General Hospital’s Ward for 3 days since Wednesday. Went there quite early that day since the nurse called to ask me to reach there before 9am. So after I reached the hospital, doctor told me briefly about the surgery of taking out all 4 of my wisdom tooth. Yeah that’s right! All 4 of them since all of them grown erm.. abnormally? i suppose..
10am I was admitted into the ward and waited the whole day to past. Read some story books which I remember to bring luckily and had some blood pressure test by the nurses. The surgery was scheduled at Thursday 11am. So wasted 1 whole day doing nothing in the ward. Then the day finally arrived. I was told to changed into the surgery clothes the next morning and being pushed into the operation theatre. Waited a while in there for everything to take place. The only thing I remembered is that the doctor putting some needles on my hand, then she injected some med and ask me to sleep. In less than 10 seconds I was fast asleep.
2 hours later I was awake. I was so blur that time and my mouth was being stuffed with cotton rolls. Trying to recall what happened, the nurses keep checking on me, asking how am I doing. Well it was still ok that time. Then I was being pushed back into the ward. Mom n dad were waiting for me there and asking how am I doing. Then disaster happens… After my parents went back to TI and the doctors checking on me, I tried to sleep. Everytime I woke up, I vomitted.. and its all BLOOD. It must be the side effect of the medicine I’ve taken and I’ve swallowed too much of blood during the operation. For the whole day, I’ve vomitted more than 6 times, all with blood. I guess the blood I vomitted can fill a small bowl! I can’t eat nor drink, because I’ll vomit after I do that. This really sucks man~ This continued until 3am..
Finally woke up feeling much better this morning. I was damn hungry when I woke up and drank 2 packs of milos. No more vomitting… thank god! After seeing the doctor, he said I can go home finally. Yeah!~ Waited until 12pm for my parents to arrive and then reached home around 5pm after waiting for quite a while at the pharmacy and had lunch. I still felt the pain in my chest and stomach whenever I cough, resulting from all the vomitting last night. It was the worst night ever. As a result from the surgery, all wisdom tooth were removed, and my face swollen like a pig. Great~! Guess I won’t be going back to Skudai so soon since I’ve taken medical leave from the doctor.
