Although the RSS feeds are getting a lot popular nowadays but still there are a lot of people don’t really know what RSS feeds are. They just keep hearing about subscribing to website’s feeds but don’t know what the heck is it

I made a header a few days ago, thinking it was quite nice but didn’t have any intension on using it. Then I found a nice picture of clear blue sky and thought of making it to my header. This is what I made and using now..

Wordpress version 2.1 is finally released this morning. The Wordpress team claims that they had done over 550 bug fixes on this version! Now that’s a lot of bug huh?
These are the changes in this new version:
- Autosave makes sure you never lose a post again.
- Our new tabbed editor allows you to switch between WYSIWYG and code editing instantly while writing a post.
- The lossless XML import and export makes it easy for you to move your content between WordPress blogs.
- Our completely redone visual editor also now includes spell checking.
I was browsing through some Wordpress themes with wonderful headers. That gave me an idea, why don’t I just make a custom header myself? This is my final semester of studying in UTM and of course I need to finish up my final year project in order to graduate. My project is titled “Embedded Ethernet” and I have to gather up all my hardware on my own. I had spent quite some time going to and back from Johor Bahru just to get my hardwares. The ATMEL microcontroller is very rare and needed to order from some suppliers. Luckily the boss of the electronic shop in JB was kindly helpful to help me order it.
Yes, Wordpress 2.1 Release Candidate 1 is now available for download. There are some cool new features in Wordpress 2.1:
- Much more efficient database code, faster than previous versions
- Autosave
- Tabbed editor
- Lossless XML import and export for moving between WordPress blogs
- WYSIWYG spellchecker
- Search engine blocker for private blogs
- You can set any “page” to be the front page of your site, and put the latest posts somewhere else
- Links can now have sub-categories
