After 5 years staying in Skudai, I’m leaving this place for good finally. My housemates and I have been renting this house for 4 years without moving to other house. I was living together with 9 other housemates at first, and then 7 of us in the end. You might find that it is quite hard to believe that there were 10 of us living in a house together at first. But look at our rented house, it’s a 3 storey house which is big enough to accommodate all of us.
With all the noise we generated everyday here, I think the neighborhood should be very happy that we are finally gone I’m gonna miss this place. 5 years of good memories with my housemates, where we were staying at the same hostel at first, then moved to this house together. Hope that everyone got a good job, and have a good future ahead . In the mean time, I’m still looking for jobs haha. Hopefully I can get hired for the job interview this coming Monday.

This monitor is just a normal LCD monitor, unlike those monitors for laptops that have true view quality. Still, it feels so good to have a widescreen monitor. Like people always say, a bigger monitor screen can increase your productivity. But for me, this monitor just provides me more entertainment for myself as I can watch those widescreen movies with a wider screen

Time for the monthly blog earnings post! April was really a busy month as it was my Final Year Project due date and presentations and final semester exams. But I still managed to post quite “frequently” After checking on my posts, I found out that I only written 1 sponsored post from PayPerPost. The earnings are growing much better compared to last month. Google Adsense earned $58.25 which is a lot better compared to $18 in March. Other than that, not much difference except I don’t have any earnings from sponsored posts. ReviewMe had just launched something similar to PayPerPost, maybe I can write some of those reviews this month.
The blog traffic is growing well as the Alexa ranking had raised to 288,837 as this post is written. Traffic is still needed for this blog and I need to find some alternatives ads to earn more too. Any recommendations? Adbrite or Kontera maybe? :wink:
Finally, I’m considered graduated from UTM! Still need to hand up my thesis with hard cover, but won’t be long. My coursemates and I had our last final exam last Friday, and had a group photo session after that.
These are the members of SET 2007 graduated batch. There are still a lot of coursemates missed the photo shooting session, Malay students most of them, so consider this as all of our coursemates. If you are wondering what is SET, it is a short form for our course name, Electrical – Telecommunications Engineering in Bahasa Malaysia. Erm.. Sarjana Elektrik – Telekomunikasi I think. Really forgotten what the short form stands for

But in order to do that, you would have to edit your theme files which might be a big trouble for those who are not familiar with php codes. This is where Post Teaser plugin comes in handy.
This plugin actually generates a preview or “teaser” of a post for the main, archive and category pages, with a link underneath to go to the full post page. It includes features to generate a word count, image count, and an estimated reading time as well.
You can edit how many words that will show in a post. For example, you can set the plugin to limit every posts to 100 words and set whether to show the word count, image count and the reading time. Basically this is the simplest way to make post excerpts in other pages other than the single post page without changing the codes of your theme.
