Mozilla Concept Phone – Seabird~

As part of the Mozilla Labs’ Concept Series, the Mozilla Lab guys had come up with a concept phone – Seabird. The big innovation is the use of dual pico projectors on the side of the handset, which can provide different functionality based on the phone’s orientation: flat on a table they pump out the two halves of a QWERTY keyboard, up on a dock they offer the dual purpose of a large viewing screen above and a seamless projected keyboard below. It also features 8.0 mps camera, Wireless Charging, mini usb, bluetooth headset which is also an infrared remote. The best part is that you can run Windows 7 on it. No words about what type of OS it will run but from the video, obviously it’s running on . Awesome? Yeah, you bet!

HTC Desire HD and Z New Sense Experience~

announced the new Desire series along with the new Sense interface. Wondering how it looks like in real life? Here’s a video of the new Sense interface, together with some footage on the two new Desire phones.

The new Sense UI seems not much difference to me other than some added camera interface and the car panel. Perhaps there’s something more which not shown in there?

HTC Desire HD~

The HTC Desire HD is now official! unveils the new during the launching event in London last night. The handset is made from a solid block of aluminum and comes packing a 1GHz 8255 Snapdragon processor, 8 megapixel camera with dual-LED flash and 720p video recording, Dolby Mobile, and HSPA+ data with 802.11n WiFi.  It is expected to land in Europe and Asia sometime in October.

Nothing mentioned about the screen resolution, but the screen size will be 4.3 inch just like the HTC EVO. From the photo above, seems like the resolution will remain same as the HTC Desire at 800×480. Sadly, there’s no front facing camera so meaning no video calls available for this phone. Yet, who uses it anyway? The phone is using the 2nd generation of snapdragon processor MSM8255 which features a better GPU. Graphic performance is expected to be much better compare to other HTC models.

HTC also announced the HTC which is for the US markets, and also the new HTC Sense. Press release as below. Have a look at the hands on video from Engadget for this awesome phone. I’m so gonna upgrade to this big brother once it launches in Malaysia. Any buyer for my Desire? Book now hehe…

Sneak-peek of Google TV by Sony~

sony-google-tv-demo-ifa-01

Sony shows off some of the capabilities its TV-enabled televisions at the IFA 2010 (not the real TV, just the video of it). The two-plus minute video loop runs through web search, Maps, YouTube and Picasa functionality, app favorites, and picture-in-picture, which you won’t miss a single minute of the show you’re watching while searching on something on the web. This could be the future of televisions where it works almost like your computer. Cool? Have a look at the video embedded below.
