For those working folks out there, Happy Labour Day to all! This is the day where all (well, mostly all though) working folks can have a day off and rest at home. So chill out, relax and don’t even try to think anything about your job today. You are not supposed to do your work today!
As for me, I’m already back in my hometown, enjoying myself with a cold chilled beer in a sunny, humid hot day at home. Have fun everyone!

It started with a question: How can we inspire people to take action on climate change?
The answer: Ask the people of Sydney to turn off their lights for one hour.
About Earth Hour On March 31 2007, for one hour, Sydney made a powerful statement about the greatest contributor to global warming – coal-fired electricity – by turning off its lights. Over 2.2 million Sydney residents and over 2,100 businesses switched off, leading to a 10.2% energy reduction across the city. What began as one city taking a stand against global warming caught the attention of the world. If the greenhouse reduction achieved in the Sydney CBD during Earth Hour was sustained for a year, it would be equivalent to taking 48,616 cars off the road for a year.

It’s been quite long since the last post, and I myself can’t even believe that I’m writing a post on Happy Chinese New Year on the last day of Chinese New Year!
Today is the 15th day of Chinese New Year, where people called it as “Chap Goh Meh” here. In traditions, it is considered as the Chinese Valentine’s Day. On this day, the all unmarried ladies and guys will gather by the river, where the ladies will throw mandarin oranges (with their names on it - if I’m correct
) from the bridge into the river, and the guys will pick the oranges from below. I know you knew how the stories goes… The guys will get to go out for a date with the girls whose names are on the oranges the guys picked up… (I really hope that this story I wrote here is correct…
)

It was 3rd of December when we first moved into this new office. New surroundings, new equipments, everything just felt fresh! A week after that, it was the official launching of our new office. Here’s some photos of the launching day~

It feels great to finally move to our new office. Previously, we were based in another building where our office was a bit like data center while all other departments’ staffs were enjoying their comfy cool office in the main building. We were a bit “isolated” back then
. Now we are all based in the same building finally (although our office is situated at another side of the building).

Ever seen an aircraft painted with cartoons or some movie scenes on it? I remember there’s one in New Zealand that painted with the characters of Lord of The Rings :). Here are some amazing aircraft ‘nose art’ photos. Enjoy~

Lost in the world of working life, I’ve almost forgotten that my domain is now 2 years old! Happy 10 days belated birthday to my site! Hopefully I will have more time to update my blog more frequently. Seems like I’ve abandoned this site for quite a few months already.

Well if you want to read some of the history of this site, read it here. Meanwhile, I’ll continue lost into my working life..
I’ll make sure I will continue wishing my site for the 3rd, 4th, even 10th birthday for the coming years. Yippie!~

Remember the last convocation photos that I took? Last weekend was finally MY convocation! Oh my god, it’s already 1 year since that time. My family and I drove down to Skudai purposely to attend my convocation. Started our journey on Sunday morning, we stopped by at Melaka to have some Chicken Rice Balls for lunch and some tasty cendol for dessert… Yummy!
The next day, all of us had to wake up at 6am because I had to register by 7.30am. Damn this is tiring..

It was my first day of working on night shift. Wanna see how my workplace looks like?

So romantic right?
This photo was taken at 3am where the guys off the lights and started dozing off since maintenance mode started. I got 2 lcd monitors to monitor on my station, maybe another laptop for troubleshooting purposes soon.
My sis just told me don’t blog too much about work here, just to be careful.
So just be cautious here..
