Went to a conference today. Its a Conference On Manufacturing & Electronics Technology helded by a bunch of students from UTM. Actually I wasn’t so interested about it but since my coursemates asked me to go so I went for it then. Basically its just a conference for keynote speaking sessions where there are guests from the industry and other Universities to give a talk about Electronics and also manufacturing. Besides that, there’s a session for final year project presentation among 12 finalist from Universities in the country. So we can learn on how to present our project next time and what to prepare for it.

Went to Melaka to find my friend who is studying in MMU there last Friday. Hard to explain why my gf was there so don’t mind about it. As soon as I reached there, my friend took us to eat Satay Celup for dinner. Its the first time I have Satay Celup at Melaka so its quite a new experience for me. Its like the Chinese steamboat but the soup is all Satay sos.. haha.. really nice eating all of that while the price is quite reasonable. Both my gf and me ate almost 30 sticks of it. We didn’t eat too much since we wana have the cendol at the Jonker Street later. So after dinner we went to have a walk at the Jonker Street. The whole street is full with hawkers selling all sorts of stuffs.. We had the famous cendol and bought some otak-otak after that.

Next Tuesday is Hari Raya Haji which is a holiday. So as always Monday the classes will be cancelled by the lecturers. 4 days of holidays straight! So later I’m going to Melaka to find my friend over there and have all the nice food over there! Sunday I’ll be going to KL to find my gf so there’s no updates here for a few days I think. Hope I’ll have a lot of things to blog with after the holidays~ Yippie!

Its 2006 already! Happy new year to everyone! So what I did for the celebration? Nothing much actually.. Yesterday my housemates and I went to Pelangi Leisure Mall for a movie, King Kong~ Quite late to watch it because I never had the chance to watch it at my hometown. Very nice movie but there’s some scenes which is quite boring~ Don’t know why..After watching movie and dinner, we went to Danga Bay to wait for the New Year countdown~ We had a drink and watched football while waiting for it~

Went to buy a ram for my pc this afternoon. The new pc is so damn slow which is much slower than the previous ones. Why? Because it only have 256MB of ram installed. So I bought a 512MB Kingston PC3200 ram. Cost me RM155 for it. At first the stupid salesgal gave me a 256MB ram. When I reached back home only found out that its not the 512MB ram and she charged me the price for it~ So I quickly rushed back to the shop to ask for changing the ram. If I didn’t check on the ram I really duno what will happen. I might just installed it without noticing its a 256MB ram. haha.. Lesson here~ Remember to check properly on the product that you’re buying~!

My mom asked the pest control fellas to clean up the ceilings today. Guess what’s been staying up there for so long?
ya~ Bats! This one is dead when the guys took it down. Just a proof to show me that there’s bats staying in the roof. The main thing they have to do is kill all the bats and clean up all their droppings. The man even took a vacuum machine up to vacuum all the droppings.. in the end he managed to clean the ceilings with 4 bags of bats droppings.

Finally, I’m not going back to the Ipoh Hospital anymore for at least a few months! Went to the hospital again this morning with my mom and reached there around 9something. My dad was ready to discharge already when we reach there. But I need to have a check on my wisdom tooth 1st. So waited for quite a long time there and the nurse asked me to get a X-ray on my teeth. Waited again there and got the X-ray done. Quite funny because I was biting on a stick and the machine just move round and round around my head that time. In the end the dentist check on my teeth and said that he can do the surgery. The only problem is that we can’t set a date for it since I’m going back to Skudai next week and the dentist is not around next week. So I just tell the nurse that I’ll call when I got holiday that time and make an appointment with the dentist then. Sigh.. so bloody troublesome~

This morning I went to the Government Dental Clinic with my mom to check out my wisdom tooth. The dentist told me that both of the teeth had to pull out so I made the appointment next week for the surgery. Sigh.. so many dental problem after my dad’s ones… haha.. After having breakfast my mom and I went to Ipoh Hospital to see my dad’s condition. We reached around 12.30pm but my dad haven’t came back from the surgery yet. So we waited at the hall of the ward there. Around 1pm my dad was pushed back on the bed by the nurses. He was so tired and blur due to the medicine I guess. We guys just sitting at the side of the bed talking to him and asked about how the surgery goes. Around 2pm my mom and I went out for lunch since the doctor didn’t come over after so long. My dad went back to sleep at that time.

Yesterday my dad received a phone call from the Ipoh Hospital asking him to admit into the hospital today. So like last time, we guys have to wake up early in the morning and travel to Ipoh Hospital then. Normally its my dad that drive in the morning and I’ll drive on the way back. But this morning my dad just gave me the keys after breakfast… I was so blur and not enough sleep but luckily I had my coffee when breakfast haha~! So reached the hospital around 10am and the doctors have a check on my dad. After some basic checkups, they confirmed that my dad have to admit into the ward to have a surgery on his gum to take out the remainings of his tooth tomorrow. He had to stay overnight due to his high blood pressure.
