Taiwan HTC made a big time a few weeks ago when they announced their latest product, the Apple i-Phone killer - HTC Touch Diamond. Born from a unique heritage of innovation and a deep desire to blend design with simplicity, the PDA phone comes with compact size, game-changing Internet and its new captivating 3D touch interface called TouchFLO 3D.
Let’s take a look at the hardware specifications first. The PDA phone is powered by 528MHz Qualcomm MSM 7201A processor, with internal memory 256MB ROM, 192MB RAM and most interesting part of all, the 4GB internal flash storage for personal file storage. The phone is HSDPA enabled, with broadband-like speed capability up to 7.5Mbps (but this definitely depends on how fast your mobile network is capable of
I doubt there’s any mobile network in Malaysia is capable of providing you that kind of speed and bandwidth!)
After almost using for 2 years on my old SE D750i handphone, I decided to get myself a PDA phone instead. Why am I changing my phone? Well, the old SE D750i phone is great, but over the years, I’ve been facing quite some problem lately. The navigator stick is stuck (common problem for Sony Ericsson phones), the phone hangs a lot due to the firmware problem, and yet the biggest problem I’m facing with is, I have to stick the phone to my ears so hard whenever I’m having a call, due to the sound coming out from the speaker is way too soft. This causes my friends always complaining they have to repeat their words so many times whenever they call me and end up frustrated
It was a rumor a few months ago that there will be a Googlephone from Google and the photos were spread all over the internet. Recently, it is officially said that the phone is not a rumor anymore.
Isabel Aguilera, Google’s chief executive in Spain and Portugal, has admitted that the developers are currently working at some really jaw-breaking mobile-related hardware. However, the so-called Googlephone will only be one of the 18th research initiatives Google develops simultaneously.
Apple has its iPhone, Google has its Googlephone.. What’s more? Yahoo!Phone, MSNphone… You name it

Sony Ericson announces the new W800 Walkman Phone.
Slim, trim, and comes in fightin’ with such features like 2 cams (a VGA one for front-facing video calls), Bluetooth 2.0 A2DP and Memory Stick M2 support (alas, Sony’s proprietary format) and…we’ll say it again — an ultra-slim shape that’s more Samsung-ian than from the SE boys. A few things that stood out in the GSM Arena review was the inclusion of “multitasking” support (we can guess at the meaning there), EDGE being absent and the inclusion of a standard 3.5mm audio adapter for using your own high-end headphones with the W880.

Its been a rumor that Apple is marching into the mobile phone industry. Finally, Apple CEO Steve Jobs announced the new iPhone cell phone at the MacWorld this morning which wowed the whole crowd.
The iPhone is an impressive, and expensive, device. It comes in 4 GB and 8 GB models and costs $499 and $599, respectively. It includes a 3.5 inch touchscreen with a virtual keyboard, a 2 megapixel camera, is WIFI enabled and runs OSX. Cingular is the carrier. The desktop-like interface and user experience looks to be a killer. This might actually take the mobile email revolution another full step forward from what Blackberry has done. Standard web sites can be viewed via the Safari browser. And there are a number of nice touches as well, including a motion sensor that rotates photos when you turn the phone, and voicemails displayed visually that you can click on and listen to. As we all expect from Apple, this is a seriously buttoned up device.
Nokia Nseries gets trimmer in 2007 with the Nokia N76. This new clamshell comes with QVGA display, 20MB of internal memory, and 2 megapixel cam, topped with a standard 3.5 millimeter audio jack and UMTS data for 2100MHz-friendly portions of the globe. As we’ve seen with other Nokia models, a second variant of the N76 will be made available for us broadband data-hating Americans that simply removes the UMTS support while retaining quadband GSM with EDGE.

Engadget had posted some photos and specs for the new Nokia N800 Internet Tablet.
