Have you ever wish that there were more formatting buttons in Wordpress 2.1 post editor? Worry no more because there’s actually a whole row of buttons hidden there! This is what I just found out about Wordpress 2.1 through QuickOnlineTips.
You can actually go from

to this

How cool is that? All you need to do is Press alt-shift-v (Firefox) or alt-v (IE) and behold when on the Write Post screen of your Wordpress Admin.
Two of the new buttons are “Paste as Plain Text” and “Paste from Word.” Nice for those who use such things. I like the custom character thing too. Now I can easily add ∞ whenever I need it…

I’m really ashamed because I don’t even realized such things exist after using Wordpress 2.1 for 2 weeks! There are some discussions on making the row of buttons permanent but it requires changing the codes in Wordpress core files. So be careful for those of you who want to change it.
Have you ever subscribed to some RSS feeds that only shows you the partial feeds? Or are you one of the blog authors that provide partial feeds to your readers? Partial feeds only show a part of the content of a post, mostly around 50 words of the starting part of it. Well to be honest with you, I get very annoyed with those kinds of feeds. Yes, very annoyed

They were just a little bit, too late I suppose? This is an advertisement from Apple, just to tackle Microsoft’s Windows Vista. These people are certainly creative minded don’t you think?

From now on, I will post my earnings from all kinds of affiliate programs and advertisements on my blog every month. The amount of my earnings might not be as huge as those full-time bloggers but I think it is enough for me to pay my own web hosting and domain name.
To be honest, my blog only has a few programs that earn me money. They are Google Adsense, Text Link Ads and PayPerPost reviews. Yes, that’s it. I do had some affliate programs banners on my site but those don’t really earn me a single cent I think

The long waiting Windows Vista will be launched in Malaysia on the 3rd of February 2007. Many users are still concerned whether their computer is ready for the new operating system. The graphics of this new OS requires high speed processor and high end graphics card. Is that so? Well, Microsoft had developed a program to check whether your computer is capable of running Vista or not.
The program is called Windows Vista Upgrade Advisor 1.0. What you need to do is download the installer and install it, then scan your computer using the options in the program. But make sure that you had Microsoft Core XML Services (MSXML) 6.0 and .Net Frameworks installed first before installing this program as the Upgrade Advisor needs both components to run it.
