Ever heard of Swype? It’s a new type of virtual keyboard for mobile phones which allows you to key in text by just sliding through the keypads without typing the words manually. It provides a faster and easier way of text input with very accurate word predictions. However, it is currently available for the new Samsung Omnia II.

Just after more than 1 month after announcing the HTC HD2, it is now finally landed in Malaysia! As I mentioned before, this phone comes with a huge 4.3 inch capacitive touch screen powered by the huge 1GHz processor. The launch event was held in Sri Hartamas, with some of the photos as below.
My friend and I went to the Nikon Show exhibition in Mid Valley last weekend. This is one of the yearly exhibition organized by Nikon. There were a lot of Nikon products and also the lens exhibited during the event. They even have a service counter to service your DSLR for free!
Here are some of the photos that I took during the model catwalk event.

The huge crowd before the event started.. Continue reading ‘Nikon Show~’

HTC just announced the new HTC HD2 aka Leo for the European market. This monster comes with a 4.3 inch 480×800 WVGA capacitive touch screen display which is the first windows mobile phone that uses capacitive touch. Although it seems to be quite bulky, the phone is only 11mm thick. Other than that, it also comes with Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional, which is also the first in HTC line that uses the attractive HTC Sense UI.
Ever wished that you can have the Push Email feature on your mobile phone for your Gmail account? Now you have it! Google just announced their new feature via Google Sync – Push email support.
Using Google Sync, you can now get your Gmail messages pushed directly to your phone. Having an over-the-air, always-on connection means that your inbox is up to date, no matter where you are or what you’re doing. Sync works with your phone’s native email application so there’s no additional software needed. Only interested in syncing your Gmail, but not your Calendar? Google Sync allows you to sync just your Contacts, Calendar, or Gmail, or any combination of the three.

To try Google Sync, visit m.google.com/sync from your computer. Google Sync can be used for iPhone, Windows Mobile, and S60 devices. If you’re already using Google Sync, learn how to enable Gmail sync.
Now who says that we need a Blackberry for push email support huh?
With the emerging users in Facebook nowadays, it is a good way to increase your blog traffic by submitting your blog posts on your facebook wall. But isn’t it a bit fuzzy if you need to submit manually every time you update a new blog post? Here’s a good WordPress plugin that can help you to submit your blog posts to Facebook automatically every time you update – WordBook.
How Wordbook works
- Wordbook will post an excerpt of the post along with a few images detected on the post automatically.
- Wordbook will post it on your Facebook Wall so your friends can see it easily on their news feed area and they will be able to comment on it straight on your wall.
- Wordbook automatically submits the post to your Facebook wall every time a new blog post is published even if you use post scheduling.

HTC just announced their latest product – HTC Tattoo (formerly known as “Click”). This will be one of the entry level of Android phones, which is “budget friendly” for those who can’t afford for those expensive ones – HTC Hero maybe? But from what I read from Mobilecrunch, this Android phone might be cheap enough to be either totally free or cost next to nothing once carriers subsidies it. I seriously doubt that it will be free from our local telco carriers though.
