Western Digital launches Industry’s First 1TB Mobile Hard Drive~
Western Digital has announced two new mobile hard drives that reaches new extreme capacities- The 2.5-inch WD Scorpio Blue 750GB & 1TB Model. The highlight is the one terabyte model as it is the industry’s highest 2.5-inch capacity drive available at the moment. Industry-leading 333 GB-per-platter technology enables the new WD Scorpio® Blue™ SATA 2.5-inch hard drives to offer mobile storage device and notebook users an enormous 1 TB capacity.
Both WD Scorpio Blue drives deliver high performance and low power consumption, while keeping the operations on your notebooks and small form desktop PCS quiet and cool. The 1TB model is also now available configured into the My Passport Essential SE USB Drives.

The Price?
The manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) for the WD Scorpio Blue 1 TB drive is RM 899.00 and for the 750 GB version is RM 689.00.
